The SAQR cluster is the product of a shared vision of Texas A&M University and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development to enhance education, research, and development in the Arabian Peninsula by bringing leading-edge computing resources to the region.
The cluster is comprised of 101 Apple G5 Xserves and hosts a variety of engineering applications as well as resources for weather modeling and video rendering.
