REMINDER: Obtaining assistance

If you are experiencing problems or require assistance, please review the SAQR
website, at http://saqr.qatar.tamu.edu/. If you do not find an answer there,
please e-mail helpdesk@qatar.tamu.edu. Please don't e-mail Leigh directly,
as E-mails to helpdesk@qatar.tamu.edu are seen by all support staff, and will
have a much faster response time.

NOTICE March 4, 2008: Unscheduled SAQR outage
At approximately 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Sunday, March 3, the SAQR execute
had to be shut down because of a cooling problem in the LAS datacenter,
where the cluster is housed. We have also experienced some residual problems
as a result of the high temperatures in the datacenter prior to the
shutdown. The cluster should be operationa now, although only about 90%
capacity, and we may have additional nodes fail in the next week or so.

We regret the inconvenience.
